It's Spring! Time to Tame That Wardrobe.
A new season is definitely the best inspiration you need for taking stock of what's already in your wardrobe and what to purchase next, thus allowing you to keep your personal brand style fresh and congruent with the business and lifestyle that you are representing.
My spring focused Boutique Wardrobe. Some items are worn in the winter, and become more worn out and tired due to the love I have for them. Cost per wear is a minimum - a true bargain. If you are blessed with space in your home and have two wardrobes then use one for this season's Boutique Wardrobe collection and the other for your hibernating collection (past season). If you are truly blessed and have a walk in closet, then you need to rearrange the rails each season.
The idea is not to leave them in one space all the time, but to move them! Moths and other grubs love staying safe in one place, so if you rather not have holes and marks on your beloved clothes, air them out and move them at least twice a year.
If you have more than three wardrobes, and boxes under your bed as well as in the loft - you have far tooooo many clothes. I recommend that you find your best style and start clearing out items that no longer do you justice.
Anything that you haven't worn for more than two years, need to be analysed according to sentimental value. Anything sentimental should be aired out and packed away somewhere where it’s dry and dark. Those that are not... it's time to let them go.
When you are ready to tame your wardrobe, take me up on my offer finding out what your current dominant personal brand style is like. This will definitely be a great tool to help you stay focused on, relating to clothes, who your best 'friends' are.
It will take no more than 5 minutes to complete this and then you can decide if that’s where you wish to stay, or not.
